Rule of thumb

  • Start with v2 when you are building a new API integration in your app
  • Start with v1 when you need the existing direct endpoint shapes or the current Make.com module flow
  • Start with /mcp/v2 when you want DumplingAI inside an AI client like Claude, Codex, Cursor, or ChatGPT
